Asia, Aotearoa, and the Architecture of Crisis

We hosted our first talk evening and pop-up exhibition as part of the Festival of Architecture 2025, bringing together speakers and practitioners to explore architecture at the intersections of Asia-Pacific and Aotearoa. 

The two-day event examined themes of displacement, migration, and belonging; climate crisis and spatial precarity; Asian identity in the built environment; and radical, speculative, and care-based architectural practices, creating a space for dialogue around design as a response to global challenges.
