For Asian Kiwis and Kiwis in Asia working in architecture, urbanism, and the wider built environment.

We’re a collective of designers, thinkers, and doers who believe that identity, migration, and cultural exchange shape the way we build. 

Whether born in Aotearoa, living across Asia, or navigating in-between spaces, we share a commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and reimagining what architecture can be when it reflects all of us.

MISSION

To amplify the voices of Asian Kiwis and Kiwis in Asia working across architecture and the built environment. 

We are committed to cultivating a platform where cross-cultural narratives are celebrated, opportunities are shared, and architectural excellence is redefined through diversity, equity, and innovation. 

Through advocacy, storytelling, and community-building, we strive to challenge existing norms and create space for more inclusive and globally connected design futures.

We recognise Te Tiriti o Waitangi as the founding document of Aotearoa and affirm our responsibility to uphold its principles in our work. 

As designers and practitioners working on this land, we acknowledge mana whenua as the original architects and kaitiaki of the built and natural environments. 

We are committed to honouring knowledge systems, advocating for tino rangatiratanga, and fostering built environments grounded in respect, reciprocity, and relational practice.
